The landscape architecture project was elaborated and implemented in the area of construction of the new section of the cemetery at Matulji with the basic idea of creating the intimate and solemn space in an atmosphere of respect and peace. In accordance to the atmosphere sought to be achieved, this circular space was enclosed by green hedges planted in two lines, higher towards the rock slopes with hedges that also had a functional role, presenting barriers and cover of the rocks that are cut off, eased space at the same time by its continuity. The dynamics and symbolism of eternity was achieved with planting the pyramidal cypresses rhythmically inside the grave lines.
