PRELIMINARY AND MAIN LANDSCAPE DESIGN PROJECT

The playground is designed in a natural way with the choice of natural materials to fit into a forest scenery. The playground is divided into two levels because of the existing modeling of the terrain that is cascaded and divided by stone wall.

In the first level, there are smaller stairs built into a stone wall with a double kid playground and an interactive board “Kružić Križić”. Due to the safety conditions on the playground, there are rubberized – antistress supports (50x50x5 cm) underneath the equipment at the foreseen locations. At the first level there is also a parent’s bench and a waste bin. The base of the playground is of a decorative bark, which besides its function has a visual quality of blending with the surrounding environment. The first floor area is 85 m² and is surrounded by high vegetation with wooden curbs.

The second level of the playground is 55 m² and has a parent bench, waste bin and a complete set of playgrounds “Young Builder”.
The complete playground consists of a series of connected games for motorics development and creativity, with rubberized – antistress supports (50x50x5 cm) at the foreseen locations due to safety conditions. The base of the playground is of a decorative crust in brown tones, bordered by wooden curbs.

On the surface intended for the play of children, we kept one maroon tree (Castanea sativa), while the other high and low vegetation, which consisted mainly of truncated shrubs was completely removed.
