LANDSCAPE DESIGN PROJECT

As part of the war monument renewal project it was necessary to restore the green area that surrounds it – the small park previously designed in non-functional and illogical directions of movement and inappropriate selection of vegetation in terms of design, environment and ecology. The space is newly designed with simple geometric footprint – a central green area with low Mediterranean vegetation, lined gravel path and benches shaded in the summer shade of small trees and bathed in winter sun . The renovated space has revived center of this small town in aesthetic and functional sense.
