STUDY TRIP DENMARK

Copenhagen and Aarhus, Denmark – 2017.
At the end of September, 2017, we were on a professional trip to Copenhagen where we visited various locations interesting to us as landscape architects. We visited 8TALLET also known as Big house – the largest residential complex in Denmark with 61,000 m2 of living space and 10,000 m2 of business space and all accompanying amenities. We walked through the open complex of Superkilen Park, which is filled with objects and urban equipment from around the world covering more than 60 nationalities and is conceived as a world exhibition for the local population. We have seen navy district Nyhavn, Paper Island as well as many other interesting locations within the city.
More photos of residential complex 8Tallet can be seen on our facebook profile as well as other photos of Copenhagen and Superkilen at the following link.
During our visit to Copenhagen, one day we set out to visit the European Capital of Culture for 2017 – Aarhus. Aarhus is the second largest city in Denmark, located on the eastern coast of the Jutland peninsula, in the geographic center of Denmark, 187 km north of Copenhagen. In Aarhus we visited the largest museum of art in northern Europe. The architectural vision of the museum was completed in 2011 by adding a spectacular roundabout to the top of the museum named ‘Rainbow Panorama ‘. You can view the photos at the following link.
